Enough is enough! Recently we have seen an uptick of scammy online courses that make claims like "start a bookkeeping business with zero experience and make $10k in your first month." We have been planning the Bookkeeper Academy for a long time, but now we are ready to accept students. 

We are proud to announce the launch of our first course: Fundamentals of Modern Accounting. This introductory course distills 16 years of experience and knowledge into six weeks. It is designed for people who want or need to learn accounting, including business owners, office managers, or aspiring bookkeepers.

Our future plans include bookkeeping courses on intermediate and advanced topics, as well as individual coaching, a knowledge library, and an online bookkeeper forum.

This is not your traditional accounting 101 class - we will not waste your time making you build ledgers manually and do tasks you will never need to repeat the rest of your career. Instead, we will teach you principles and show you how they work in modern software and how they apply in the real world. By the end of the six weeks, you will understand the accounting principles that are relevant today, know how to use Quickbooks Online competently, and be able to implement best practices in bookkeeping in your business or career.
